Association of Equipment Management Professionals (AEMP) that attended the association’s October 28-29 Asset Management Conference are concerned that the cost of implementing the California Air Resource Board’s (CARB) proposed regulations will be immense. Many states are already planning to adopt the regulations if the EPA grants CARB the necessary waiver. The EPA is extending the comment period for California State Nonroad Engine Pollution Control Standards from November 28, 2008 to December 19, 2008.
