A new line of digital arc stud welding equipment is available from Image Industries. The new equipment offers advanced data management for statistical process control documentation. The Smart Weld’s documentation feature will allow users to maintain quality control and consistency.
By reporting information such as date and time, the weld tool used, mode used, weld parameters requested (time and current), and actual weld results (time, current, and voltage), users can determine whether quality standards are consistent with each weld. Users can also enter optimal weld settings, if the weld falls outside the programmed limits, the Smart Weld documentation feature will alert the user with an error message.
