Engineered for tough terrain and difficult tractive conditions, the new Model 4206D/T rubber-track-driven tractor from Bell Equipment will pull up to three 18-cubic-yard scrapers in tandem over rough terrain. The tractor’s 422-horsepower engine delivers 1,486 foot-pounds of torque and 65,000 foot-pounds of drawbar pull. Each of the four drive modules has a 36-inch-wide rubber track to provide flotation and rubberized idlers and bogies to cushion the ride. When you’re climbing hills, range-hold switching prevents auto upshifting and gear hunting. An inter-axle lock equalizes traction to both axles.
