VMAC, located in booth B8707 in the ConExpo Bronze Lot, will display its 6-in-1 Multifunction Power System with a Cat C1.1 engine. Users can turn off their truck engine while on the jobsite, and the system automatically idles the Cat engine up and down and turns it on and off with air demand.

Components include a 45-cfm rotary screw air compressor, 8-kilowatt continuous AC generator, 250 A DC welder, 300 A (max) at 13 -volt booster, 12 to 48-volt battery charger, 2,800-rpm power take-off port plus optional hydraulic pump and a cold climate kit tested to -40 degrees Fahrenheit.
Also on display will be the stacked G30 gas-engine air compressor, which forgoes the traditional horizontal drive and instead stacks it vertically.
This allows the rotary-screw compressor to take up less space; dimensions are 38-inch tall, 20.5-inch wide, and 18.15-inch deep, including the belt guard.
It weighs less than 210 pounds, saving up to 175 pounds when compared with other units on the market, VMAC says. Producing 30 cfm at 100 percent duty cycle, it doesn’t require a large air receiver tank, offering further space and weight savings.
