Deere names Mack president of construction and forestry division

John Deere named Michael J. Mack, Jr., the new president of the company’s worldwide construction and forestry division.

During his time at Deere, Mack served as senior vice president and chief financial officer of Deere and Company, vice president and treasurer of the finance division and as senior vice president of marketing and administration in the company’s commercial and consumer division.

Mack is a registered professional engineer and holds masters degrees in mechanical engineering and business administration. He began his career as a summer intern at Deere’s Des Moines Works.

Mack replaces Samuel R. Allen, who is the first president of the construction and forestry division to be elected chief executive officer in the company’s history.
