It’s among eight California H&E branches.

H&E Equipment Services has moved its Sacramento-area branch to a larger, newly-constructed facility in the Sacramento city limits. The previous location was 17 miles away in Rancho Cordova, a neighboring city in Sacramento County.

The new facility – one of eight H&E branches in California – is serving customers throughout Sacramento and surrounding areas, where a lot of construction activity is underway.

The 9,500-square-foot facility is on more than three acres at 4800 Straus Drive. It has a fenced and paved yard area, offices, parts warehouse, and an eight-bay repair shop equipped with a five-ton overhead crane.

Monday, December 4, was the first day of business in the new facility.

“The word’s still getting out, but everything’s been pretty positive,” rental coordinator Chad Harris tells Equipment World. “Everyone’s really happy with the yard that’s been built here. It’s a huge upgrade for us.”

In addition to equipment rentals, the facility provides new and used equipment sales, in-shop and mobile service, a comprehensive parts inventory, training, and other value-added services. Repairs cover a variety of general industrial, construction, and earthmoving equipment.

Brett Buzzini, H&E Sacramento branch manager, says significant new construction along the I-80 corridor through Sacramento means that this relocation will be more convenient and better serve projects in the area.

In addition to better access for customers, Buzzini says, “our new facility allows us to significantly grow the product lines we carry in aerial lifts, forklifts, earthmoving, and general construction equipment to appeal to an even larger base of equipment customers.”

The branch specializes in aerial lifts, telescopic forklifts, earthmoving, and general construction equipment from the following manufacturers:  Atlas Copco, Blue Diamond, Bobcat, Bomag, Doosan, Gehl, Generac/Magnum, Genie, Hamm, JCB, JLG, John Deere, Laymor, Lincoln, Miller, Multiquip, Okada, Skyjack, Skytrak, Takeuchi, Towmaster, Wacker Neuson, Yanmar and others.
