Epiroc AB LLC has begun operating as an independent subsidiary of the Atlas Copco Group.

Focused on customers in mining, infrastructure and natural resources, Epiroc has its own brand name and logo and will be listed on the stock exchange in 2018.

Atlas Copco announced in January 2017 that it would split into two companies next year, with Atlas Copco focusing on industrial customers.

Epiroc began operating under its own name on December 1, with 370 employees providing sales and service from 17 locations to customers in more than 150 countries.

The company, founded in Sweden, develops and produces drill rigs, rock excavation and construction equipment.

“Epiroc is devoted to providing customers with products and services that enhance their productivity, energy efficiency, safety and ergonomics,” says President Turgay Ozan.
