The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) is seeking public input on projects included in the 2017 State Primary Improvement Program (STPP) before it is included in the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program.
The STPP would direct $40 million in funds to improving the state’s Primary Highway System, which includes U.S. and S.C. routes. SCDOT says projects in the program would involve reconstruction and/or rehabilitation of 93.4 miles of roadway.
A link to the STPP document is available online here.
SCDOT says comments will be accepted until the close of business on April 10 and should be forwarded to Vivian Patterson, Public Involvement Manager, SCDOT Office of Planning, 955 Park Street, P.O. Box 191, Columbia, S.C. 29202 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
