The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) says Mountain Construction Company of Lovell, Wyoming, will provide work on two projects for I-80 and one for I-25.
This includes a $5.5 million contract for a mill, overlay and wearing course project on a 10-mile segment of eastbound i-80 near Cheyenne and Pine Bluffs in Laramie County. The project also includes work on the off- and on-ramps and turnarounds. The completion date is June 30, 2018.
The contractor also won the contract for a mill on 4.7 miles of the east and westbound lanes of I-80 between Laramie and Cheyenne near Buford in Laramie County. The contract, which also includes work on shoulders and turnarounds, is valued at $4.7 million and is scheduled for completion on October 31, 2017.
The I-25 project, valued at $4.5 million, calls for Mountain Construction to complete mill and overlay work on a 6-mile segment of the interstate south of Wheatland in Platte County by October 31, 2017.
The remaining projects include work for guardrail replacement, railroad crossing replacement, materials purchases and surfacing work, WYDOT reports.
