The latest version of Trimble’s TILOS time and location planning software for highways and other linear civil engineering projects provides improved integration with third-party project management software and the company’s Business Center-HCE office software, and enhances project visualization.
TILOS 9.0 offers a new Gantt chart format that makes a connection between the time frame of the project and the layout of the project site, incorporating specific components of a project, such as bridges and intersections with work types, such as concrete and steel. This information is used to format the project schedule in a digital wall chart.
The software also is compatible with ASTA Powerproject, Microsoft Project, and Primavera project management software. In this update, detailed activity, including structures, can be imported, and Primavera P6 .xml file formats can be converted to a linear schedule without using an API.
The better integration with Business Center-HCE allows users to convert a mass haul plan into a linear construction schedule in TILOS, improving scheduling accuracy.
