An employee of a heavy equipment dealer in Alaska was killed last month when he was crushed by one of the dealership’s machines.

According to a report from KTVA TV, 57-year-old Thomas Heit was working at Construction Machinery Industrial (CMI) in Anchorage on the afternoon of Dec. 14 when the piece of heavy equipment fell on top of him.

Anchorage Police did not release any other details about the accident, including what type of machine it was or how it happened, adding only that Heit was found dead at the scene.

According to the company’s website, CMI distributes heavy machines for Volvo, Hitachi, Atlas Copco, Link-Belt, Metso, Mack Trucks and Contant.

APD and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration were conducting an investigation.
