Case Construction Equipment will provide a loader/backhoe to event teams as part of its gold sponsorship of the 13th Annual National Gas Rodeo, Sept. 22 in Fairview Heights, Illinois.
The National Gas Rodeo, produced by the Midwest Energy Association with the support of the American Gas Association and the American Public Gas Association, features competing utility crews in a variety of skill events for showcasing natural gas equipment installations.
The rodeo is the proving ground for elite gas crews from across the United States. As many as 30 four-man and two-man teams are expected to compete.
Crews competing in the rodeo will use a Case loader/backhoe during certain skill events. Case also will display a commemorative 50th Anniversary Case loader/backhoe model at the National Gas Rodeo. As a gold level sponsor, Case is the exclusive sponsor of the rodeo’s backhoe relay event.

In addition to sponsoring the National Gas Rodeo, Case also sponsors its own series of rodeos for loader/backhoe operators. This year, more than 80 Case dealers will host Case Rodeo Series events, with more than 5,000 participants from across the United States and Canada. These competitors are vying for spots in the Case Rodeo Series North American Championship event at CONEXPO in Las Vegas in March 2008.
