Vermeer says its CC155 concrete cutter is designed to increase roadwork efficiency and minimize lane closures.

A geometric cutter head allows the cut to come from the center of the machine with more precision and power. The 84-inch cutter wheel has a cutting width of 4.8 inches and a cutting depth of 31 inches.

The machine has a transport speed of 11 mph thanks to a 156-horsepower, Tier 4 Final John Deere engine. Its compact design allows it to work in urban areas and tight roadways with less traffic interruption, the company says. It weighs 26,600 pounds, is 13.75 feet long, 10 feet high and 8 feet wide.

The CC155 has all-wheel drive and backlit gauges and work lights. Its SmartTEC performance software assists operators with adjustments to machine controls to improve productivity. It also tracks data for later analysis of the machine’s performance.
