Ram has unveiled a a special “Black” edition of its Rebel pickup that integrates dark design features into the stylish off-road-focused truck.
The Rebel Black will be set apart from other Rebel models through the addition of black wheels, a black brush guard and an all-black interior.
And though the effect of this special edition is obviously most dramatic with the truck’s black body color, Ram says the package will be offered with all available Rebel colors.
Black anodized bezels can be found on the doors, center console, instrument panel and gauge cluster trim rings. Slate gray stitching accents the black interior which also features heated seats and deep rubber floor mats for capturing snow and mud. Leather seats are an available option.
Like all Ram Rebel pickups, the Rebel Black features Ram’s new front grille design with the bold “RAM” word mark branding. It will come equipped with a factory lift, 33-inch all-terrain tires, Bilstein shocks, skid plates and tow hooks among other off-road features.
The Rebel Black special edition will be available in crew cab with a TorqueFlite eight-speed transmission and either the 5.7-liter HEMI V8, delivering 395 horsepower and 410 lb.-ft. of torque, or the 305-hp/269 lb.-ft. torque 3.6-liter Pentastar V6. Pricing starts at $45,590 plus $1,320 destination.
