During Memorial Day events in Washington D.C., Volvo Trucks unveiled its 2018 Ride for Freedom truck featuring a customized VNL 760. The graphics on the truck honor America’s military heroes from all branches with the slogan, “All gave some, some gave all…some still give.”
Employees at Volvo Truck’s New River Valley (NRV) assembly plant in Dublin, Virginia, built the truck, which was accompanied by a custom-designed Volvo VNR 640, which led a motorcade of more than 150 motorcycles from the assembly plant to Washington, D.C. during the annual “Run for the Wall” Ride for Freedom motorcycle rally.
This is the 27th year that NRV employees and the UAW Local 2069 Veteran Committee supported the Ride for Freedom event, which is now in its 31st year.
