Hcss Plans

Offering both web and mobile platforms the new HCSS Plans software enables superintendents and project managers to share plans, changes and markups seamlessly from the field to the office.

In the office, managers and estimators can upload project documentation, make annotations, link to callouts, add notes and photos and mark revisions using the HCSS Plans website.

Field crews get instant access to all this information and revisions and can annotate plans from mobile devices to share with the people back in the office. Plans can be downloaded to the device and studied offline. Then when the user returns online, HCSS Plans automatically syncs with the device to ensure the most recent changes are viewed.

Designed for the heavy civil construction market, HCSS plans is optimized for iOS mobile devices to give your drawings crisp lines even when you’re planning or zooming in on details. The program also has a “quick publish” feature for one-step PDF document uploading. It also offers dual vertical and horizontal scaling plus a number of calculators for jobsite needs such as asphalt and concrete quantity estimations, concrete yield to rebar, trenching and trucking.

The company says HCSS Plans will soon be integrated with HCSS HeavyBid, Heavy ob and Safety programs. Once users have won a bid using HeavyJob they can send notes, measurements and photos to HCSS Plans without double entry so field crews can see exactly how a job was bid. Calculations for HCSS Plans give you daily production tracking and reporting in HeavyJob. You will also be able to send Safety documents from HCSS Plans to HCSS Safety, giving crews access to relevant safety information for their meetings and tailgate talks.
