The California Transportation Foundation (CTF) has announced the Transportation Award (TRANNY) winners for Project of the Year, Person of the Year and Elected Official of the Year for transportation excellence in 2009.
CTF also announced the Rail Project of the Year and the top three finalists for nine other awards, the winners of which will be announced at the Awards ceremony and luncheon on May 19, 2010. The CTF Transportation Awards recognize excellence in California transportation, all modes, public and private sector and from all regions of the state.
“The TRANNY Awards jury, made up of public and private sector transportation professionals, reviewed many excellent nominations this year,” said Tom Zlotkowski, CTF Transportation Awards Committee Chai, in written press statement. “Our selections represent the best of the projects, programs and people who made a positive difference for California transportation in 2009.”
