JLG® Tow-Pro Trailer Mounted Boom Lift with More Capabilities and Operator Convenience

The Rental Show, 2008 – JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Truck Corporation company [NYSE: OSK] and a leading manufacturer of aerial work platforms and telescopic material handlers will show the JLG Model T350 Tow-Pro trailer mounted boom lift in Booth 6119 at The Rental Show in Las Vegas, Nevada February 12 through February 14, 2008.

The Model T350 trailer mounted boom lift has a larger working envelope and faster towing speeds (up to 65 mph) than similar products on the market. It also features self-leveling hydraulic outriggers, a removable platform control box with simplified one-handed proportional controls and a unique boom design.

The Tow-Pro Model T350 has 35-foot platform height with 20-foot horizontal reach and features 410 degree non-continuous turntable rotation. Unrestricted capacity in its 30-inch by 48-inch aluminum platform is 500 pounds. Power is provided by four 6V, 220 amp-hour batteries or from an optional 9 horsepower Honda gasoline engine. Other standard features include surge brakes, parking brakes, an hour meter, tilt alarm, a 110V-AC receptacle in the platform and a mounting tray for customer provided generator, pressure washer or air compressor.

An important option is the drive and set system. It allows the outriggers to be set or retracted and the machine to be driven by the operator from the platform when the platform is in the stowed position. The drive and set system allows workers to easily move the machines short distances, when they are on a generally firm and level surface, to do such jobs as tree trimming or changing the light bulbs on a series of parking lot fixtures.

Other productivity enhancing options include a convenient glazier and panel tray, air and water lines to the platform, a bolt-on material handling hook that allows lifting of roof trusses, shingle bundles and other construction components, and a 90 degree platform rotator.
