Archbold, Ohio Four models in the Bil-Jax Summit Series of trailer-mounted aerial work platforms have earned international approval and are now available for sale to customers throughout Europe, Canada and Australia. The model 3522A, 4527A and 5533A articulating boom lifts and the 2622T telescoping stick boom join the model 3632T, which earned international approvals in March.
Bil-Jax, Inc., in collaboration with Intertek/ETL Semko, began seeking international certifications earlier this year. Modest changes were made to meet international standards, including the addition of European-style tires and axle, mechanical brakes and a 50mm coupler. Machines bound for Canada will remain identical to those currently available in the United States. Decals, manuals and other literature have been translated to French, German and Spanish to maximize exposure throughout international markets.
Summit Series lifts provide a best-in-class combination of outreach, working height and load capacity, as well as quick set-up, industry-leading leveling capability and user-friendly controls, contributing to outstanding performance overall. Most options available in the U.S. market will also become available on lifts bound for international destinations, including platform and jib rotation, material lift and drive-and-set packages.
