Polaris is now offering gas-powered models of its Pro XD utility task vehicles, a follow-up to 2018’s launch of the diesel Pro XDs.

The new gas-powered UTVs are similar to the diesel models, including seating for two to four riders, depending on the model.

The four-seat model 4000G AWD model has 2,075 pounds of payload capacity and a 2,500-pound towing capacity. The two-seat 2000G AWD has a payload of up to 1,900 pounds.

The UTVs can reach a speed of up to 26 mph.

Polaris says the gas-powered models “are the ideal vehicle for increasing jobsite capabilities within the sectors of entertainment and events, municipalities, utilities and emergency response. The new models continue to provide the same best-in-class durability, serviceability and safety features with some additional model updates.”

Features include puncture-resistant seats and tires, commercial-grade wear components, heavy-duty suspension, and a Polaris Pro-Star 1000 cc gas engine.

The UTVs are equipped with a variety of safety features, such as operator warnings, highly visible colors, improved operator sight lines, horn and pedestrian alarms, and a sealed cab that reduces dust intrusion. The new gas models also have a tamper-proof, digital speed calibration that allows the UTV’s top speed to be reduced as low as 15 mph.

Polaris says the new models also have parts that are easy to replace, and the UTVs have a high-output charging system to increase battery life and run powered accessories.
