Ohio Cat has broken ground on a 40-acre facility in Perrysburg, Ohio, that will house its Ohio Cat, The Cat Rental Store and Northern Ohio Peterbilt operations on one campus.

The site will house a 65,250-square-foot building that will include shop space, a parts warehouse and office space for the dealer’s machine sales, rental and administrative personnel. Other buildings include an 8,300-square-foot wash building and a 5,940-square-foot cold cold storage structure.

In addition, the Ohio Cat site will also include a 68,000-square-foot building with 26 service bays for its Northern Ohio Peterbilt subsidiary. The truck operations will also operate a 7,400-square-foot cold storage structure.

Ohio Cat says this addition represents the first time its Peterbilt dealership will have a full service location in the Toledo area.

Nearing its 75th year of operation, in the past 15 years Ohio Cat has diversified into agricultural equipment and the on-highway business.  Its Ohio Ag Equipment sells and supports a full line of AGCO and CLAAS agricultural equipment.
