Volvo’s Road Institute 2009-2010 offers five different courses on paving and compaction. The seminars promise easy learning, hands-on experience and networking with other industry professionals.
The courses for the Road Institute include paver and compactor operation and maintenance, paving and compaction application, paver screed operation and adjustments, soil compactor application, and automatic grade and slope system.
The Road Institute will be located in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and Phoenix, Arizona, from September 2009 to May 2010. Each seminar lasts two to three days and costs $500 per person.
