The Terex Roadbuilding group has entered into an agreement with Allison Transmission, which is part of the General Motors powertrain division. Allison automatic transmissions will serve as the exclusive transmission in Terex concrete mixer trucks distributed by Terex Roadbuilding. As part of Allison’s EDGE program, the agreement offers fleet owners better warranty coverage, lower routine maintenance costs and higher horsepower and torque ratings in transmissions.
Terex Roadbuilding manufactures a line of asphalt and concrete equipment for preparing, paving, maintaining, reclaiming and building roadways, bridges and infrastructure.
