United Rentals expands Anchorage branch

United Rentals announced this month it has completed a 12,000-square-foot expansion of its General Rentals branch in Anchorage, Alaska. The addition consists of a service center that will be used for repair and maintenance of customer-owned equipment as well as the branch’s rental fleet. The center has five drive-through garages and a large washing bay. The company has also begun construction of a 15,000-square-foot branch location in Fairbanks, slated to be completed in June.

The 48-horsepower stand-on compact utility loader was displayed at Utility Expo to gather customer feedback to prepare it for production.
