Equip Expo 2026 was a hotbed of a new machines and tools for landscapers, including a fresh wave of zero-turn mowers for the U.S. market.
Equipment World was on the ground for Day 1 and 2 of this year’s show in Louisville, so here’s 11 zero-turn mowers that caught our eye on the showroom floor.
Ego Power’s First Commercial Zero-Turns
One of the most important zero-turn announcements we saw at this year’s show was Ego Commercial’s first lineup of commercial zero-turn mowers. The new lineup includes three stand-on models — the ZTX4800R, the ZTX5400R and the ZTX6000R — and three sit-down versions (not seen in the video below).
Powered by Ego’s removable high-capacity batteries and delivering the equivalent of 44 horsepower, the stand-on versions offer a suspensions platform for comfort with an I-beam frame and 9-gauge fabricated deck for durability. All six new models feature four 2.2kWh high-capacity battery ports supporting up to 15.6 kilowatt-hours, delivering 2-4+ hours of runtime on a single charge.
Operators can reach up to 12 mph and mow with a 48-, 54-, or 60-inch deck on both the stand-on and sit-down versions.
Bad Boy’s RoughTrak Prototype
Sitting prominently on the corner of Bad Boy’s booth was its first-ever prototype tracked zero-turn, the RoughTrak.
I only had time to grab this quick video, but the folks at Cornerstone Equipment did a longer walkaround with a product expect. According to their coverage, the RoughTrak is a rear discharge brush cutter, able to cut material from 3 to 7 inches in diameter and up to 1-inch-thick debris.

Greenworks’ New Optimus Z Attachments
At the Greenworks booth, staff had their 72-inch Optimus Z zero-turn on display, complete with new attachments like a sunshade and ETO plug.
The Optimus Z runs off a 30kWh battery under the seat, which can also power attachments like leaf blowers from the unit’s ETO plug on the front. Operators get 8 hours of cutting time off one charge.
Gravely’s New HD Pro Models
We also got a look at the freshly updated Pro-Turn lineup from the Gravely, which brings four new models – the Pro-Turn 400, Pro-Turn 400X, Pro-Turn 600, and Pro-Turn Mach One – to the U.S. market.
We got a close look at the Pro-Turn 460X, which was featured prominently at the corner of the indoor booth and offers:
- A redesigned, lowered cockpit for better balance on uneven terrain
- A vertical-pin height-of-cut adjustment system
- A wider ROPS
- Air-ride seats
RC Mowers ReconX: Control Up to 3 at Once
And finally, we have the new autonomous unit from RC Mowers that debuted at Equip Expo, the ReconX.
This stand-on, zero-turn's autonomous capabilities let one operator control up to three three units at once, each able to cover 4-5 acres per hour. Each ReconX is fitted with a 10.1-inch touchscreen and mobile app for mapping, machine controls, access to productivity data and diagnostics.
The ReconX will be available with either a 60-inch of 72-inch deck featuring CutShift technology, capable of cutting heights from 1.5 to 7 inches. The ReconX is powered by a 40-horsepower Vanguard Big Block EFI engine.
