Mack Trucks customers can now receive most emergency replacement parts from Mack’s parts distribution centers without freight charges, due to a program the company launched last month.
The program, which will also launch in Canada at the end of March, ensures that if a part is unavailable at a participating Mack dealership, it can be shipped overnight to the dealer at no cost to the customer, provided the part is available at one of Mack’s parts distribution centers. Additionally, after hours orders can be received on the next day, and Saturday orders can be received on Monday, also with no deliver charge. Oversize parts – parts that weigh more than 150 pounds – are also included in the program.
“Mack customers have the right to expect our dealers to have in stock the same genuine parts used to assemble their trucks,” says Chris Gossler, director of parts sales, mack. “This program eliminates customer freight costs associated with getting an emergency part, on the off chance the part is not in stock.”
