Pump manufacturer’s subsidiary receives order for New Orleans flood control pumps

Gorman-Rupp reported its subsidiary, Patterson Pump, has received an order for approximately $15 million worth of pumps to be used in New Orleans, Louisiana flood control.

The eight pumps have a capacity of 135,000 gallons per minute each and will be installed at the London Avenue Pumping Station in conjunction with a Corps of Engineers’ project.All of the pumps are expected to ship by mid-year.
