Multi-purpose machine travels on dirt, pavement or rails

Engineered for mobility on and off paved surfaces, including railroads, the Gradall Model XL3300 Track Star hydraulic excavator can quickly switch between a wide range of attachments including a mower, buckets, a grapple for handling railroad ties, a single tooth ripper and a grading blade. The boom telescopes and tilts 220 degrees while rotating in either direction so you can maneuver under bridges, trees, tunnels and signs and work on a variety of surfaces above or below grade. The Track Star rides on a standard four-wheel-drive undercarriage over most terrain. Over railroad tracks it uses hydraulically lowered rail gears. Maximum dig depth is 20 feet 2 inches and the boom radius measures 27 feet 7 inches. Boom force is 20,150 pounds.
