Vermeer names managing director of Vermeer International

Vermeer Manufacturing has appointed Steve Heap managing director of Vermeer International. He will be responsible for strategic and operational sales and marketing functions in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Heap began his career with Vermeer as an international sales representative. He became South America regional manager in 1997, and Latin America district manager in 2000. He has also worked as regional sales manager handling dealerships in the Southwest United States and as global accounts manager.
