Haulotte Group has reorganized its North American handling facility in order to accommodate an increase in lines of Aerial Work Products manufactured. The plant continues to manufacture the BilJax brand of scaffold and event staging.
Some of the areas in which changes were made over the past year include raw material storage, machining, welding, fabrication, assembly, paint, test and warehouse. Additionally, the plant now features new overhead cranes, an updated lighting system, racking systems and machinery reorganized to increase overhead visibility and a new floor coating.
As part of this renovation in North America, Haulotte is expanding the AWP manufacturing in Ohio, particularly with the addition of the first electric 2632E scissor to the company’s line.
