Case Construction Equipment has introduced the TR310 to its Alpha Series compact track loader lineup, a mid-frame machine the heavy equipment manufacturer says provides the power and stability of a large-frame CTL.
Weighing in at 8,800 pounds, Case likens the TR310 to its TR270 but with wider, redesigned 15.75-inch tracks than it and Case’s other mid-frame CTLs. The machine itself is wider as well at 74.3 inches and boasts a lower ground pressure at 5 pounds per square inch. As an Alpha Series CTL, the TR310 features a dozer-style undercarriage with a rigid track frame rather than a suspension track system.
The machine is powered by a Tier 4 Final, 74-horsepower engine pushing 232 lb.-ft. of torque. The TR310 features the lift cylinders of a large-frame CTL and has a rated operating capacity of 3,100 pounds and a bucket breakout force of 8,680 pounds. The TR310 features a radial-lift arm design with a 10-foot, 3-inch hinge-pin height.
Inside the three-foot-wide enclosed cab, the machine features Case’s EZ-EH setup menu with nine preset speed and control settings for operators to choose from. A rocker switch allows switching between the “H” operating pattern and ISO pattern controls while a Ride Control button smooths out the ride by dampening loader arm movement. Hydraulic quick couplers allow operators to change attachments quickly from inside the cab.
