Doppstadt’s SM 1200 Triflex, a two-deck star screen, will now be available in the United States. The SM 1200 has stars on each deck that rotate in a parallel manner to loosen and transport even material with a high moisture content across the screen. The screen offers 140 squre feet of screening surface for a high rate of output.
Alternating shaft speeds profide agitation to separate and tear the material, and deck opening is controlled with adjustable shaft speed controls. Options include windsifters to reduce plastic contamiation, magnetic separation and an additional star deck or tipping grid above the hopper.
