Kubota introduces its smallest CTL, the SVL65-2, with larger machine features
Scheduled to hit dealerships in April, Kubota’s new SVL65-2 compact track loader represents the company’s smallest CTL while providing many of the same features as its larger predecessors.
Kubota designed the cab to be similar in size to its SVL75 and SVL95 compact track loaders and also gave it the same easy-open, slide-up front door that can be opened no matter the position of the bucket or loader arm. The door can also be pinned to remain open during machine operation.
The hydraulic Advanced Multifunction Valve is designed for smooth operation when using functions such as auxiliary, boom and bucket circuits simultaneously, and it makes it easier to run attachments on auxiliary hydraulics, including grapple buckets, 4-in-1 buckets and augers.

GMC unveils 2020 Sierra HD pickups with new 10-speed transmission
Following the December reveal of the redesigned Chevrolet 2500HD and 3500HD,General Motors is taking the wraps off of the rest of its 2020 heavy duty lineup with the introduction of its new GMC Sierra HD models.
Though most of the new features GMC is touting on these new pickups have to do with towing, there are a couple other notable differences between these and the 2019 Sierra HD models.
First, the 2020 Sierra HD trucks mark the introduction of an all-new 10-speed automatic transmission from Allison. GM says this is the first 10-speed to be offered in the HD segment, noting that the closer gear spacing allows the engine to operate in an optimal range at all times, through varying load and terrain conditions.

Chevy debuts 2020 Silverado HD lineup with best-in-class towing, new 10-speed transmission, more powerful gas V8
At an event held inside the newly renovated body shop at General Motors’ Flint Assembly Plant in Michigan Tuesday, Chevrolet introduced the media to its redesigned, all-new heavy duty pickup truck lineup for 2020.
In addition to getting to see the new trucks up close, Chevy also revealed upgrades to the truck that have pushed it to the top of the HD segment’s ongoing struggle for best-in-class towing with an eye-popping 52 percent increase in max towing capacity.
Chevy’s 2020 2500HD and 3500HD will be offered with the 6.6-liter Duramax diesel first introduced in 2016, with that engine still delivering 445 horsepower and 910 lb.ft. of torque. And while that massive torque number has fallen behind the latest Power Stroke engine from Ford and the 1,000 lb.ft. output by the new 6.7L Cummins turbo diesel on Ram’s HD lineup, Chevy has still figured out a way to top Ram’s towing numbers: a new 10-speed Allison transmission.
