ALT Sales, headquartered in Richfield, Ohio, is the newest retail distributor in the Manitex articulating crane distribution network, which is rapidly growing in the United States and abroad.
With more than $1.7 billion in global annual sales, Manitex International is a leading international provider of truck and knuckle boom cranes.
“We are pleased to add the Manitex articulating cranes to our diverse portfolio of equipment,” says ALT Sales General Manager Josh Bacci. “We have been a Manitex boom truck dealer for over 20 years, producing strong sales results. ALT has been a premier source for the largest selection of the world’s best names in boom trucks for sale, rental, and leasing, including Manitex. We anticipate continued success with the Manitex articulating cranes.”
ALT Sales is a member of the ALL Family of Companies with 37 locations operating under the ALL, Central, Dawes, Jeffers, and ALT names. ALT Sales specializes in the sale, service, and rental of boom trucks and trailers, articulating crane lifts, and drywall delivery cranes, as well as parts.
Manitex Product Manager Sam Rooke call ALT “a historical Manitex dealer with proven success. Their extensive experience in the crane industry will give them a solid platform for growth in the articulating crane area.”
The company is showing solid performance. Just two months ago, fellow crane maker Tadano Global of Japan invested about $32.7 million in Manitex, buying 2,918,542 shares of common stock, providing a major infusion of cash.
The investment gave Tadano 15 percent ownership of all Manitex, makers of the Manitex, PM, O&S, Badger, Sabre and Valla brands, along with the right to designate one member to the Manitex board of directors.
