MH Equipment’s Evansville, Indiana, branch has relocated to 728 Rusher Lane, doubling the size of its facilities in the city. The company expects to host an open house and ribbon cutting early this fall.

According to Mike Goebel, MH Equipment‘s South/East Region president, the relocation is the result of “tremendous growth. This growth prompted our move to Evansville’s north side, where we can continue to excel in the service that allowed us to earn the business of our current customers as a primary consideration.”

The move gives the company additional capacity to grow its rental products, such as mobile elevating work platforms and specialty lifts, Goebel says. The branch will continue its 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. hours.

Parent company MH Equipment began in Peoria, Illinois, in 1952, as a Hyster forklift dealer. It now is “one of the largest and fastest growing full service material handling providers in the United States,” says a press release. The company offers equipment from Hyster, Yale, JLG, Genie and JCB, among other lines.

Since 1994, the company has grown both organically and through acquisitions from 50 employees and three locations to more than 800 employees and 27 servicing locations in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
