Sany’s second backhoe loader for the U.S. market has been rolling out to dealers this year.
The new BHL95 from the Chinese manufacturer weighs 19,842 pounds, runs on a 95-horsepower Deutz Tier 4 Final diesel engine and has dig depth of 17 feet 7 inches.
Its reach can be extended to 22 feet from the swing pivot with a factory-installed telescopic stick. This allows crews to trench deeper, place materials farther and work around obstacles without constantly repositioning the machine, according to Sany.
The company says the BHL95 comes with a hydraulic 4-in-1 multipurpose loader bucket for clamping, grading and dozing. “The operator can smooth out fill using the bucket’s clamshell function, then rotate his seat and extend the backhoe to set sewer lines, saving hours compared to a fixed-boom backhoe loader.”
The BHL95 joins the company’s SLB95, which debuted in 2021 at 17,725 pounds, 95 horsepower and 3 feet less dig depth with its fixed boom.

New financed backhoe loaders sales in the U.S. dropped 1.8% to 2,058 units sold from May 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026, compared with 2,095 units sold during the same period last year, according to Fusable’s latest EDA equipment finance data. Backhoes are the eighth most popular machine category, accounting for just 1.4% of all new financed machines sold.
