Hyundai's new HT30 compact track loader weighs 11,036 pounds, has 72 net horsepower and a rated operating capacity of 3,028 pounds.
It is slightly smaller than the company’s largest compact track loader, the HT38, revealed last year.
David Steger, product marketing manager at Hyundai, takes us on a walkaround tour of the new CTL in the video above. He describes the HT30 as a “tool carrier," best suited for residential construction and landscapers.
“Skid steers and track loaders have evolved with more than just bucket work,” he says. “Being able to work with the work tools, especially the hydro-mechanical tools that require high flow, this is an excellent tool carrier. So, the residential contractors are a key customer segment for us.”
Steger highlights the Hyundai HT30’s suspended undercarriage, along with triple-flange track rollers and a multi-bar track system, as a key feature for improving operator comfort. Contractors can opt for a rigid undercarriage, as well as swap the multi-bar system for a larger or narrower track system.
“We feel the suspended undercarriage, paired with our speed-sensitive ride control for the lift arms, really help improve operator comfort and jobsite performance,” he says.

The new CTL offers continuous-flow auxiliary hydraulics, up and down self-leveling, and a bucket shake feature for removing sticky material from the bucket.
Operators will find access panels for daily maintenance, a lockable fuel door and a hydraulic-driven, reversible fan cooling module with variable speed.
The HT30 comes standard with a rearview camera, and contractors can upgrade to an optional LED light package and 270-degree-view side and rear cameras.
In the pressurized, one-piece cab are a swing-out polycarbonate door and an air-suspension seat. It also features an 8-inch standard integrated display on which operators can customize controls. This includes what Steger describes as slow, medium and fast operating patterns for the loader arm and bucket.
In the second quarter of 2026, Hyundai CE sold 173 new financed machines in the U.S., according to Fusable’s EDA equipment finance data. Popular models included the HT100V and HX35AZ compact track loaders and the HA30 articulated dump truck. (EDA is owned by Fusable, parent company of Equipment World.)

All right. I'm David Stager with Hyundai Construction Equipment here with our latest HD 30. Starting with the undercarriage, it is a suspended undercarriage with triple flange track rollers all along the bottom. With our multi bar track system, we do also have big block track system as well as our narrower track that is available. This model is also available with a rigid undercarriage for applications that would benefit from that, but we feel the suspended undercarriage, paired with our speed sensitive ride control for the lift arms, really help improve operator comfort and job site performance.

Coming through the the loader arms, it is a vertical lift arm style. The 230 represents about a 3,000 pound rated operating capacity that's without the counterweights. The optional counterweights will add a few extra hundred pounds to that, so it's a very stable, capable machine. This machine weighs in just under 11,000 pounds. It's powered by a 74 horsepower Hyundai engine, so it's a very capable machine coming around the backside.

We have nice protection all around the machine with our lower bumper, heavy duty steel door. Open this up and you have incredible serviceability for your daily maintenance and routine services. The cooling module is a hydraulic driven, reversible fan variable speed, helping to keep those side by side coolers clean and operating at full capacity.

Fuel tank. Large fuel tank is lockable with the rear door. We have our LED light package on their standard. We would have just the rear view camera. This machine is also configured with our optional 270 degree view side and rear camera. That gives the operator good visibility and awareness of their job site coming around to the front. This machine is a standard flow.

We'll have a standard flow as well as a high flow configuration, making it tool carrier 14 pin connector for your various attachments. Today we're highlighting the Berlin Laser Grader. This can be outfitted with various levels of technology, from laser type systems to the full Trimble integrated fully automatic system that we're showing here today. This machine paired with this attachment makes it the ultimate compact dozer for finish grade work.

Stepping up into the cab, we do have the swing out polycarbonate door, so it offers some great operator protection. Inside the cab we have an air suspension seat, very comfortable, easy to operate, great visibility all the way around the machine. Lower the lot bars. We have some extra technology in here for this display is for the virtually laser grader with triple.

The standard display is an eight inch touchscreen integrated display that has mid-year controls, including your radio, rear view camera and all your adjustments for your controls. Being each, we're able to really customize the controls, dial them in. We have kind of a slow, medium and fast operating pattern for each of the travel loader, arm, and bucket. The buttons can be configured for different attachments.

We also have continuous flow auxiliary hydraulics self-leveling both up and down. We have I mentioned the speed sensitive ride control as well as a bucket shake, pressurize one piece cab, good sealing around the door and our HVAC system with Vince strategically placed get you good airflow around the cabin so that paired with the visibility around this machine, the nimbleness of the product, the size of the product, the horsepower makes this a very capable machine on the job site.

The ideal end user for this machine landscape for residential construction or residential trade. Someone who needs a machine that can work in all seasons, right? Landscaper may be doing landscape work in the summer and snow removal in the winter. Ideal machine this is really a tool carrier. You know, skid steer and truck loaders have evolved with more than just bucket work.

But being able to work with the work tools, especially the hydro mechanical tools that require high flow, this is an excellent tool carrier.
