The manufacturer recently expanded its Blue Series line of compact equipment with the debut of a new mini excavator, skid steer loader, compact utility loader and wheel loader, featuring enhanced capability and upgrades from the previous generation. Its lineup also includes asphalt rollers, forklifts, scissor lifts and a range of attachments.

"The Typhon Blue Series is proving to be very popular with customers who appreciate our unique combination of utility, flexibility and value," said Dennis Tan, CEO of Typhon Machinery. "Based on customer feedback and research, we have now made the move to broaden the Blue Series."

Typhon’s 4,000-pound Terror XIX Storm Mini Excavator features a swing boom and retractable tracks for small jobs on tight landscaping and construction sites. It’s designed for ease of use for even first-time operators, the company says.

Inside the cab are pilot controls and a flat floor for more legroom. A hydraulic control upgrade for the dozer blade operating handle allows for height adjustments while traveling.

The track width can adjust from 39 to 51 inches.

The Terror XIX Storm comes standard with a 16.3-inch-wide bucket, a toolbox, a canopy, LED lights and a digital manual.

Typhon’s new Stomp 509 Skid Steer runs on a 25-horsepower Kubota D1105 diesel engine. Its 3,100-pound operating weight and size allow it to navigate tight jobsites and pivot 360 degrees within its own body length without any forward or reverse movement.

Typhon says despite the machine’s size, the cabin comfortably accommodates operators. The pilot control system has been improved.

The radial-lift skid steer has an 840-pound rated operating capacity, a maximum dump height of 84.6 inches and a dump reach of 22 inches. It can travel up to 5.6 mph.

With a bucket width of 40 inches, Typhon says, the Stomp 509 is ideal for loading dump trucks, moving large quantities of sand, gravel, or debris, and performing site preparation and cleanup. A variety of other specialized attachments are available for snow clearing, demolition, grading and other tasks.

From digging to drilling to landscaping, Typhon’s new Stomp X1300 Mini Skid Steer Loader is designed for maneuverability and versatility on confined jobsites.

It’s powered by the 25-horsepower Kubota D1105 engine and Hansa closed-loop hydraulic system.

Operation is via a mixture of pilot control and mechanical control. Pilot control on the left control handle is used for the overall movement of the machine, while the mechanical control handle on the right operates the arm. The operator’s station has foam padding for added comfort.

The Stomp X1300 is 35.4 inches wide. It has a maximum dump height of 72.8 inches and a maximum operating capacity of 1,320 pounds.

Typhon positioned the hydraulic oil radiator separate from the engine compartment, so the hydraulic oil temperature is not affected by the engine heat.

Its maximum load capacity is 2,200 pounds using the main arm, while the extended auxiliary arm tops out at 1,320 pounds.

Shipping and Warranty

Typhon offers free shipping on all products, with delivery times of one to two weeks from its U.S.-based warehouse in Commerce, California, the company says. A showroom is also available at the warehouse to view the products in person.

Machines come with a one-year warranty, during which Typhon says it provides free spare parts. Equipment can be returned to the California warehouse for a full refund within 35 days from the date of purchase, the company says. The cost of return logistics is not covered by Typhon.

Market Impact

Typhon's impact in the U.S. compact equipment market may be difficult to track over time given the low prices of its machines, which are likely to be bought with cash.

The compact equipment market is highly competitive, with the following number of new financed units selling from May 2025 to April 2026, according to Fusable's EDA data:

  • Mini Excavators: 32,658 units
  • Compact Utility Loaders: 11,376
