Fifteen nominations in five categories for the bauma Innovation Award 2016 were announced at the recent bauma and IFAT Media Dialog. This year marks the 11th time the awards have been presented.
The bauma show, which is the largest construction-related tradeshow in the world at 605,000 square meters of exhibition space, held every three years in Munich. The next is set for April 11-17.
The Innovation Award is presented to one company each in five categories. It is a joint effort by bauma, the German Engineering Federation, the German Construction Industry Association, the Central Association of the German Construction Industry and the German Building Materials Association.
Nominated innovations “offer significant practical benefit and economic potential, they are sustainable and they make a contribution towards energy- and resource-efficiency and/or towards the humanization of the workplace.”
