Following the release of the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado Rally Editions, GMC has announced its own racing-inspired appearance package for the 2015 Sierra.
Like Chevy’s Rally Edition pickups, GMC will offer three 2015 Sierra Carbon Edition packages that add racing stripes and big wheels.
The standard Carbon Edition starts at $33,075 and will be offered on the Sierra 1500 double cab and adds racing stripes down the hood and tailgate with a “carbon fiber” appearance. The pickup features a blacked painted grille that continues the look of the hood stripes and offers remote keyless entry, a 110-volt power outlet and LED cargo box lighting.
The Carbon 20 Edition starts at $38,275, adds 20-inch aluminum alloy wheels to the mix and is offered only on the Sierra SLE double cab. The Carbon 22 Edition, pictured in the gallery above, starts at $42,270 and adds 22-inch black alloy wheels, a four-inch black tubular side assist steps, fog lamps, a Universal Home Remote and dual-zone climate controls.
Each of the Carbon Edition packages are available with two- or four-wheel drive and come standard with a 4.3-liter EcoTec3 V-6 that delivers 286 horsepower and 305 lb.-ft. of torque. If you need a little more power, a 355-horsepower, 5.3-liter V-8 is an option.
