Video: A Quick Glimpse of Scenes from ConExpo 2023

Updated Mar 21, 2023

Equipment World editors were out and about at ConExpo videoing and photographing miles of new equipment, which we have compiled into this short video to give a glimpse of what North America’s largest trade show had to offer.

ConExpo-Con/Agg & IFPE 2023 started March 13 and ended March 18. More than 139,000 visitors got to see the latest technology and equipment from the construction equipment industry’s major manufacturers, as well as hundreds of smaller, innovative companies showing their products to make workers’ and contractors’ lives easier and more productive.

The show, held every three years at the Las Vegas Convention Center, had 3-million-plus square feet of exhibit space with new equipment, devices and innovative concepts on display. There were 2,400 exhibitors and 190 education sessions.

Electrification was one of the clear trends at the event, with most major manufacturers rolling out battery-powered equipment, either as a concept, prototype or ready for market.

In the video above, you’ll see glimpses of the following equipment:

  • Ashland’s 1812E scraper
  • Case’s new X25E electric compact excavator
  • Caterpillar’s Global Operator Challenge
  • Sany’s electric mini excavator playing mini golf
  • Kobelco’s SK2109 excavator equipped with shears picking apart an SUV
  • Manitou’s new MTA 642 telehandler
  • Skyjack scissor lifts and Snorkel boom lifts raised to the sky
  • Link-Belt’s new 300 X4S excavator being demonstrated with tiltrotator and quick coupler
  • A custom Stellar Industries work truck
  • John Deere’s new 850E electric-drive dozer
  • Dressta’s newest dozer
  • An electric mini excavator from Kubota
  • An electric wheel loader from LiuGong
  • Sany’s new SSR120HT compactor
  • And the TL100VS, one of the four models in Yanmar’s return to the compact track loader market
