Dig World has opened its second construction-themed adventure park in Texas where kids and adults can operate heavy equipment.
The new Grapevine location includes some of the attractions from the first theme park in Katy and some new ones.
Here’s a look at the attractions for the park, which officially opened July 11:
- Dig Academy — free-dig area where visitors can practice operating excavators.
- Dude Perfect Zone — putt with a mini excavator, perform basketball trick shots on a boom lift, and throw a football from a scissor lift at a dump truck target below.
- Stripe’s Rubble Rush — steer a mini tractor through a demolition-debris course.
- Operator Games — designed to test excavator operator precision, timing and control by picking and placing pipes, knocking down “buildings,” planting “trees and shrubs” in holes and connecting “railway segments.”
- Highway Haulers Skid Steer Course — navigate the construction zone moving heavy loads with skid steers.
- The Ultimate Dig — a “mega excavator challenge” involving digging and dumping dirt in a large dig pit.
- The Crusher —asphalt roller flattens everyday objects into smashed souvenirs.
Prices for Dig World Grapevine range from $30 to $50 for single day passes. Various packages are available, as well as bookings for corporate events.
The new Dig World is open 9 am to 4 p.m. daily and located at 2200 W. Grapevine Mills Circle across from Grapevine Mills.
Dig World’s first location opened in Katy in 2022 and gained widespread attention after founder Jacob Robinson appeared on “SharkTank.” Robinson struck a $200,000 investment deal with founding “Shark” Robert Herjavec for 10% equity in the park to accelerate expansion with franchise owners, solidify nationwide sponsorships and forge key equipment partnerships.
