If you have time on your hands in the coronavirus lockdown and want to boost your knowledge and skills in the digital and GPS area, Topcon is launching a free series of webinars to do just that.

The webinars focus on GPS and geo-positioning topics in construction and agriculture and will help attendees understand how to improve productivity using digital construction workflows, overcome barriers to technology adoption, and offer practical how-to sessions for customers and dealers. All the sessions are free with registration at topconpositioning.com/webinars.

The webinars will be delivered by a range of Topcon experts, with input from several other industry specialists. Trainers will explore topics such as the barriers to technology adoption in construction and using technology to attract talent and bridge the skills gap.

Also in the lineup are classes on using haul truck apps, receiver maintenance, 3D paving, data prep and intelligent compaction. Additional sessions will showcase various Topcon hardware, software and web services.

The content series is live on the site, with new sessions taking place regularly over the coming weeks. If you can’t attend online at the time of the webinar, the sessions will be archived for future viewing.

“We’re aware that people are working from home, and we want to continue to support our customers and colleagues as much as possible” says Ron Oberlander, vice president of global professional services at Topcon Positioning Group. “That’s why we’ve developed this webinar series – to provide an opportunity for continued professional development so that professionals can remain as productive as possible and be in the best position possible to accelerate the industry’s recovery when we come out the other side.”
