Cummins has announced several personnel and responsibility changes within its engine business.
The company is dividing the midrange and heavy duty team into two organizations. Dave Crompton, currently vice president, midrange engine sales and marketing, will become vice president and gneral manager of the midrange engine business. Current automotive business vice president Ed Rence will move to vice president and general manager of the heavy-duty engine business.
Crompton has worked for Cummins since 1987. He has been vice president, industrial markets, in the midrange engine business and has field experience in the planning, off-highway, marine and Chrysler divisions. Pence began working for Cummins in 1981 and has been a key member of the heavy-duty business team.
