Bomag announces plans to build new roller drum facility

Bomag, manufacturer of compaction technology, has announced plans to build a 124,000-square-foot roller drum facility. The facility will be an expansion of BOMAG’s main factory in Boppard, Germany. The new facility will cost approximately $34 million, making it the largest single investment in the 51-year history of the company. Construction will begin on the new drum plant at the beginning of 2009, and completion is planned for early 2010.
