Equipment Share rental location in Las VegasEquipmentShare has opened a new rental location in Las Vegas.

“We are very proud to introduce EquipmentShare to the fast-paced, hardworking Vegas market,” says Jabbok Schlacks, CEO and co-founder. “Our Vegas team has more than 70 years of collective experience in every department: machine service, rental, retail sales and management. Their experience, combined with our new fleet and our technology is going to dramatically improve how our Vegas customers get work done.”

The Las Vegas location’s rental fleet includes general heavy equipment, dirt and heavy dirt equipment, high-reach equipment and specialty infrastructure equipment.

“Our fleet is young, and we have the technology to keep it maintained and in the best shape,” says DJ Edwards, EquipmentShare Las Vegas’s service manager. “The Vegas market isn’t like other construction markets—there’s no time for downtime. Our technology solutions help our customers avoid that downtime. We work around the clock here, and so does our technology.”

Equipped with tracking hardware, each rental machine provides data on equipment utilization, GPS location, fuel usage, maintenance history and upcoming service. The technology also notifies service personnel when a machine is approaching or past due on maintenance.

“Our equipment trackers provide us with a ton of data, and that data drives decisions and allows us to take corrective action to help customers save money and prevent downtime,” says Tim Green, EquipmentShare’s chief data scientist. “We use our data to create predictive models that anticipate breakdowns before they happen.”

“With nearly $7 billion worth of construction jobs on the books for the next two to three years, we’re confident EquipmentShare will be on every jobsite in Vegas,” Schlacks adds. The company says it is actively hiring for a variety of sales and service positions at the location.
