Dave Turin, “Dozer Dave” from the hit TV show Gold Rush, offered his support for infrastructure funding by signing an asphalt slab petition at the World of Asphalt and AGG1 show last week in Houston. “My heart and my passion is building roads. I grew up building roads and my family still builds roads,” Turin said before signing the petition. “We want to send a message to Washington that we need to concentrate on our roads and build some roads.”

The slab, which gathered many more signatures alongside Turin’s, will be sent to Washington, D.C., Turin explained, with the hopes that it will be seen by President Donald Trump.
