The Asphalt Institute has announced four 2019 Basic Emulsion Technician Training sessions designed to give insight in asphalt emulsion testing, materials approval, specification and quality control.
Attendees will learn test procedures, calculations and criteria involved in asphalt emulsion testing. The 3 1/2-day training sessions will include hands-on training such as sample preparation and testing. An review test on the last day allows you to evaluate your knowledge.
The course is intended for asphalt technologists, engineers, consultants, scientists and technicians responsible for emulsion testing, materials approval, specification and quality control for pavements. This knowledge will also benefit contractors, state and local materials staff, federal agency personnel, and university educators.
Training dates are January 7-10, March 11-14, April 1-4 and November 11-14. All training takes place at the Asphalt Institute headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky.
