John Deere has rolled out its new 2027 Model Year 1 Series Compact Utility Tractors with a factory-installed cab option, improved ergonomics and greater implement versatility.
The manufacturer also updated model nomenclature to better align with its full tractor portfolio. The new model names are as follows:
- 1E 25 replaces the 1023E
- 1M 25 replaces the 1025R
- 1R 25 replaces the 2025R
The tractors are designed to offer year-round comfort and performance for a variety of landscaping, property maintenance and snow removal tasks.
The 1M 25 and 1R 25 models can be equipped with a factory-installed HVAC cab. A newly redesigned fender console improves machine ergonomics for more intuitive operation, Deere says. A tilt steering wheel and new digital fuel gauge come standard.
Implement compatibility has been expanded across the lineup. A factory-installed third function is integrated with the single-point hydraulic connector option for easier loader removal and a mid-lift-ready option supports mower decks.
Twin Touch foot controls let operators change speed and direction with a touch of the toe, making loader and mower work faster and easier with no clutching for quick reversals, strong startup torque and reduced drivetrain shock, the company says.
Maintenance and access to key components are easier with a new one-piece hood that opens 77 degrees. Deere gave the 1M and 1R models standard LED headlights. The 1R is also equipped with standard front LED work lights. Front and rear LED work lights are available as field‑installed options across all 1 Series models.
Powered by1M and 1R series now feature a standard smart connector, which integrates with John Deere Equipment Mobile to support real-time machine data, maintenance alerts and ownership and service insights.
