The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has released an updated version of its Digger Derrick Safety Manual with new content.
Provided by manufacturer members of the association, the new content touches on safe equipment operation, start-up and shutdown, and maintenance precautions.
Also included in this updated edition are the following:
- Key terms for calculating load capacities when using a digger derrick for lifting operations
- Information on lifting, pole setting and digging operation
- Personnel platform safety information
- Updated safety symbols and pictograms and a cleaner format
